Level 1 - BWLA Award for Sport (Weight Training)  BWLA AWARD FOR SPORT               LEVEL 1 WEIGHT TRAINING 

This award is designed to provide an understanding alongside the ability to safely teach and develop free weight training exercises for sport, providing programmes of progressive development for athletes within their chosen sport, therefore, along with other training mediums enhancing the physical development of athletes and helping toward prevention of injuries in conjunction with strength and power increase.

This award is designed for those who have completed the level 1 award for sport who wish to further their knowledge in strength and power development, utilising the two classical lifts, the two hands snatch and the two hands clean and jerk, assist exercises and programme development.
