BRITISH SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010

The British Schools and Youth Championships were held at the Oldbury College of Sport,
West Midlands on Saturday, 13th March 2010.

This is the third year the competition has been run at Oldbury and new innovations have been put place to improve the compeitition format. Judging by the positive response from the BWLA Coaches, the School Governors and other participants these innovations are improving the Championships, although some individuals do not wish to accept these inenvitable changes. Sam Hayer and his team from the Oldbury

Team Oldbury

College of Sport did a fantastic

job in running the competitions, but were once again let down by BWLA's inability to provide sufficient numbers of Technical Officials, a matter which the English Committee needs to address. The sad point of the day was that the Oldbury College of Sport weighing scales situated in the girls changing rooms have gone missing. If anybody has any knowledge of these scales then please contact Sam Hayer.
